Sending and receiving messages in surprising, unexpected ways can spark a sense of connection, camaraderie, and delight.

In this studio, you will design a system of communication-- sending and/ or receiving messages-- that is unexpected and delightful. What could you design: a paper airplane telegraph network? A mailbox between a school and a senior center that encourages intergenerational pen pals? A system of color coded chalk drawings that relay the daily weather report? Get ready to design your very own version of a message in a bottle!
